Small yes, but quality over quantity any day.

 

A near mint mint and complete Jetfire, what more could one want. :D

 

As for contemporary TFs, I personally like them better but I have no problem respecting the G1 line for what it was. Never had many of the originals but the reisue line has already done much to give me a  greater appreciation of them. Loves having G1 Prime, and Magnus as well as Rodimus. :clap

Although the G1 Transformers were very well made in the context of their era, by recent and contemporary standards, they are woefully inferior.

 

IMHO, contemporary TFs are better to look at and more fun to play with.

Though I love the new toys, they still will never have that spark that the original toys had. I'm not sure if that spark just faded as I grew older, but the new toys just don't have that same appeal for me. I have to say, though, the Cybertron toys are the closest to how TF's used to make me feel, whenever I see a new one I kind of go "Oooohh!" inside. But still, they're nothing like the old guard G1 toys, as far as I'm concerned. :tftongue
