THIS WAS THE TOY I WANTED TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!!! :redface sorry, my has/tak anger just flared.

But it looks so much like skids. :tftongue

as much as i like this, and i swore i would do this, i've decided that that the xb isn't the right mold for him. i even have an xb, but i think it needs to be bulkier or more rugged looking. but don't think i'm taking away from your work. it's great craftmanship, as always, soda!

this is the way this mold should have been... ironhide from the getgo. nice work! *not sure if ur the first one to repaint the scion into ironhide but im glad u did!* again, good job n cant wait to see it finished!

Wow...people don't pay attention much do they....lol..jk.

Look at his first post again.lol

Here's the one he's referring to. I actually finnished it up (Deceided to repaint the black parts dark gray) and here's a pic although a bit blurry.

BTW, I know I told you once but I'll say it again...looking good man. I can't wait untill you show off the Head modifications you mentioned.

Good luck!

What you should do is design some way for the hood to flip so that one side is red when in car mode, and the other is blue in robot mode so it looks like his windshield is there like in the anime version.

Same here. Well, except that I've stated from the beginning that I feel this mold doesn't suit Ironhide (if only because the car is extremely ugly) and so never considered doing this myself.

Nevertheless, I like what you (and TFM) have done. It does look really good in robot mode.

I'M BAAAACK!!!!  lol

Just took this recent picture of the nearly finished robot mode.  As you can see, any color discrepencies in the finish have been corrected.  I decided to go without the fully rounded head because I fell in love with what I did.  I did do a bit of rounding to it.....closer to the front of the head and the very back.  I also shaved off the "chin" piece to give him his more anime look and added some new silver chrome paint apps.

Enjoy,

Without further ado..........BT Ironhide!

Nice job turning Prowl into Ironhide.  I never would have expected it.  Turned out real nice.  I'm glad you put that extra effort into it instead of just painting Skids's head red.
