I did this modification with a Micron 005 Pen.  Though this isn't really a Kitbash, or even a real re-paint, I thought I'd share it with everyone, maybe it would inspire others to give a little detail to the somewhat bland grey on about 90% of the newer TFs.  Enjoy!

It looks okay. It'd look better if the toy itself had more detail- on the back it just looks bland. The really makes the front of Screamer light up though. :thumb

I like how it brings the detail out off the wings, pretty cool to see. Cybertron Snarl could sure use it  :thumb

:schin Hmmmm..  I think those would both look good with some panel lines. 

 

Thanks for all the comments.  I really do think it brings some details less noticed out.  I'm sure more than a few TFs could use this and it would look good. 

Looks good. Y'could probally also detail the nose cone(doesn't look like it has any ink on it) and possibly the fists? Makes me wish I had a Starscream to detail, too.

Not bad. You should try add some battle damade. Y'know burn marks and cracks etc. That would really top him off.

Looks kinda funny where the lines pass through the Con logo.  Otherwise I like it.

That looks great! Did you do something to the grey as well, or is it just the pen detail making the grey look different to me?

Nice job on the panel lines.  Panel lines done right can really top a figure off.  Good Idea.
