Careful MH. A  :lock is not far behind reguarding this topic.  :eek

On topic though I have to agree with MH. The Matrix as I've always seen it is the essence of primus in a spiritial sense.

well, if the matrix was actually destroyed, then you'd have Go-Bots, right?

:tdown

:eek2 :eek2 :eek2 PREMISE FOR THE TF MOVIE'D

and BTW Loki, X-BoB knows me too well to take me seriously when I bust out the "godless atheist" stuff. Even though he is one. *insert "smiting" comment here*

Well according to the DW GI Joe Transformers vol one they all die.

Which is quite possible.  If you go by the theroy that the matrix is basicaly like Primus's heart, then destroying it kills Primus.  Since all Bots are his children and to some extent draw power from him then they would suddenly be cut off from the power source that gives them life.  So all of them would die, perhaps not immediately, but in time I think they would all die off.

That the coolest ending to a comic, ever.

No silly. You'd need the matrix to rip a hole in subspace that then creates a paradox universe in which Gobots were the dominant machine with Transformer slaves. Of coarse, these Gobots in the alternate, parallel dimension would require goaties to signify their evilness.

"Everyone dies at the end"? :tfhuh Why not just call it "Requiem for an Autobot" while you're at it?

OMFG I'm not on Ignore. :eek  :eek  :eek  :eek

Actually I know that. That was mor of a knock on the Mods anyway. ;)

On topic. Everybody dies at the end of DWs GIjoe/Transformer cross over. Why don't I remember that.  :redface  As well meaning and inovative as that serries tried to be it was an absolute mess from start to finish.  :tfmad

I really enjoyed it.  It was very chaotic and the art was very dark and gritty.  It really felt like the chaos of war.  Wasn't the best comic ever written, but I enjoy it every time I read through it.
