I won Machine Wars Optimus on Ebay,, loose, complete, and in really good shape. I think the total was 50 USD with shipping but with him I also got a diaplated G1 Galvatron, and G1 Brawn, Gears, and Warpath all near mint.

Despite what anybody says are thinks, Machine Wars prime is awsome. Most inovative trailer transformation in a long while. :thumb

you know he's a repaint right? Not that his g2 color scheme wasn't X-TREMEly ghey though

There was no color change on the figure.... its the same figure.

To me its worth throwing into the fire and watch the expression of on the face a diehard fan of the European Gen 2 as it melts...But I know that guy isn't on this forum..

BTW- I hate all of the European Gen 2 figures.... minus Overlord!

But the problem with MW prime is he had his features cut out when he was put out with the other MW figs.

Yes, I did my research before bidding. IMHO the Machine Wars Prime has a superior colour scheme but as Greensight has already pointed out they gutted his rapid firing mechanism in exchange for two single missil firing launchers. Understandably Hasbro did this because the tiny missils wern't up to American safety standards. Apparently they also fired far because of stronger springs and hit with stinging impact.

I so want one. :tfsad
