No catch (apart from having to buy Vector Prime!) I payed £40GBP for mine & it's worth it*  :thumb

 

 

 

 

 

 

*Compared to other sucky UK RRPs!

Only difference is that the Hasbro release of the smaller Starscream is in a different paint scheme then the Takara version and also only available in that set.  Its a decent figure, but I prefer the Takara version personally, of course that one costs a bit more and he doesn't come with the Vector Prime.

vector prime is also no different from the single boxed version. personaly id reccomend buying the gf version of both.

It's a Costco exclusive, if I'm not mistaken.

I had to get both of the exclusives (both the Costco Prime+Magnus and the TRU Starscream+VP sets) on eBay, though, mainly because they don't sell the exclusives here in Quebec because there's no french on the packaging... :tdown

:pfx The only Takara versions from the current lines that I bought happen to be VP and SS and I am very glad that I did. The GF versions are superior to Cyb in many ways, but the price difference may not be worth it.

 

Both are great figures, but if you have the $$, I would highly recommend going for the GF versions.

Then go the less expensive route and spend the difference on Primus. I think/hope that it is worth it.
