Toy Fair: Star Wars Transformers Showcase

If Hasbro could just pose better... Hell... if we could get some good, up-close pics...

But no... I'm sorry, all you guys, but the ppl taking photos aren't good at photographing what matters, like face detail, good pics of the accessories, and such.

the pictures at tfw2005 are a lot better IMO

I honestly don't think it would matter. I'm no Starwars fanboy but these IMO are a real slap in the face to the real fans of Transformers/Starwars fanbase. For those of you who really like these I'm really happy for you, and hope they make great additions to your collections I just won't be. I'm not upset or even disapointed in this I just don't recall anybody anywhere wanting a Transformer/Starwars crossover subgenra.

Time and time again many of the forum members have pointed out, if hasbro and their design team would just get away from having to make the alt. modes look like their Star Wars Character Counterparts, the possibilities for this line would be endless.  They have the vehicle modes down perfectly, if they could just pull themselves away from having the alt modes resemble characters this line could be something special.  Imagine a SWTF line that could rival Alternators and Binaltech in both vehicle and alt. modes.  I love my Alternators and Binaltech characters don't get me wrong, but even if they weren't homages to G1 characters as long as they kept the same overall look that they retain now in both car mode and robot mode, i would still buy them up in heartbeat.  I just wish that same logic could transfer over to this line.

Hi guys, I know the pictures seem scarce at this point, but more pictures will be up on these galleries.  We're still sorting through them, actually.  There's a hell of a lot! So keep checking back on the galleries for new pics to surface.

Bwbm, off-topic, but can you smack around Hasbro until they make the Thunderhawk in 8" Sigma 6 scale?

I would pay $100 for that, gladly.

:puke

That's all I have to say about these.
