Arrrrrrrgh! what the hell is this crap? Primal looks like a meld of all three versions into one figure.... the Original beast, the transmetal and the Beast machine with a little Apache thrown in.... WTF! But I'll still get...

That Planet of the Apes Dr. Cornelius Primal is growing on me though..... since it's ugly as hell and I tend to like stuff like that :redface

I have to admit though, the head sculpt on megs is pretty nice.. it's just the body he's attached to..

i like them and plan on buying both

I'll be honest, when I first saw Primal's beast mode, I had no idea what it was, I thought I was looking at an Attacktix. These two simply don't work as anniversary figures, but they're not out & out terrible to me. I will likely end up owning both, Megatron certainly, but I'm on the fence with Primal. I'm not a big beast fan anyway.
