I used to have a bum-load of models for Quake 2. yea, Jetfire, Sideswipe, Soundwave, Wheeljack, Megatron, Swindle, like 9 different Seekers, a dinobot, Prowl, Bluestreak, Smokescreen, Blast Off, Vortex, all the Aerialbots, Superion.

 

Then came Quake 3. Skids and Jazz. and a couple bad mesh ports from Quake 2. But did have Rhinox's chain gun as well as Tarantulus wheelgun.

 

UT had Megatron, which I used after deciding that the Quake 2 Tank Commander model made me so huge, even llamas could shoot me.

 

I also used a Megatron model in Half Life iirc.

 

I never used any TF mods in Quake. I think once I saw that retarded Optimus Prime skin, I said... oh no. But they all looked pretty retarded back then. I just played GLQuake with the Killer Quake patch. OH yea an on a 6MB Voodoo Rush. Those were the days. I still keep a Windows 98 computer with a 3dfx card in it just for when I want to play Quake or Quake 2. (and that pc is a beast too)

I forgot about the 1/2 life skins and all. Preferred Quake 2.

 

I remember trying to compile every skin I could get every skin I could find...installed patch after patch, and they made the system crash!  Had to go in and one by one test them to find the ones that did not work...it just didn't like all that data at one time, and was a useless attempt. 

 

Sunstreaker never worked. 

 

Was very cleaver how they changed the paint on certain bodies to look like other characters, like using Soundwave's body to make Optimus, or Wheeljack's skin to make Sunstreaker. 

 

I seem to recall, the TF Doom I had, someone used toy shots for the characters, the skulls were Laserbeak toys, and the Green Megatron tank was the big missile launching giant.
