I know Transformers are all about "Transforming" but the one company that could do Transformers justice would be McFarlane Inc. He could do up some pretty bad-ass looking Transformers easily.

Did anyone see that Menasor at '03's OTFCC? He used repaints of the cars from RiD and RiD Ultra Magnus as Motor Master. The cool thing was that he could combine them and then take them apart into their individual components. It was REALLY awesome. Now if only Hasbro could be that creative.....

Sorry, just getting really pived with this notion that all Decepticon Alts are gonna be is a new paintjob. They are gonna have new parts people. Heads, hands, etc new stuff added. Hasrbo has said as much...

As I said they're REMOLDS. NEW PARTS. Not just a paintjob....

 

Come to think of it what's wrong with repaints? G1 was mostly repaints anyhow...

 

McFarlane would be good if you wanted a TF figure that had a little more possability than a statue.

You're in the wrong thread dude, u need to post that stuff in “Hasbro bashing” under the “Transformers General Discussion” area.

hasbro has some stupid ideas such as action masters 'i remember the transformers that DIDNT TRANSFORM!' --simon furman but then again energon is definatly nice, and i fail to see takara's logic in shrinking megatron, that is worse than castrating prime, i mean prime got castrated by hasbro but takara made an impotent megatron!

 

still i hope they redo sideswipe into a con with a better gun, then i may buy it, and hound would make a good swindle with the right face

The way I took it (maybe just wishful thinking) was that...

 

They were using different vehicles that had similar proportions to the other cars in

 

the line, and would have the same tranformation. :monkey

Actually...there were other 'con cars...I know there were a few in G2, and while they were not that popular, they could still be used. I know I will get the Decepticons if the paint job is proper (like that Deadend). PLUS there is Runabout and Runamuck, now if they come with spray cans to graffiti america (one of the few american TF stories that makes me smile), that would be hillarious. And they will make new molds for the heads, so that will be very cool. Imagine that new Mazda, dark purple, with a faceplate, maybe some flames...after thinking about it...it will look VERY cool with my collection.

I am going to reserve my judgment and Blot talking on this subject, until some pics show up showing me just how much they are going to change the alternators to make them decepticons.
