I like their colors, I want the piranacon, he's one of the best to me, have the Targetmaster power, and a combiner power.

God nep it ghey, the colors may be better, but it isn't supierior to the Universe or the G1 version.

But most likely he's not going to be released, becasue of walmart and all of it's gheyness.

God nep= Usually goes for $60-100+ on ebay

G1= Usually aren't in sets, making it cost more then $100+

G1 bruticus sucks if you put him near his RiD counterpart, and G2 combiners look better.

But this is just another opinion thread, and my blah bllah

Also for people that don't know, the 6th member becomes a gun, make God nep steps under the other just for not having those parts.

:tfsad For the Universe seacons, and all the other great universe figs that never made it in.

God Neptune not only lacked 1 member but lacked a LOT of accessories. The Universe version would have all the gestalt parts, sword, gun, all individual weapons and the 5 weapon stands.

Not sure how realistic it is to think the set would have been $20-$25... the Ruination sets were $25 and this would include a 6th figure a load more accessories, I would at least guess $30. Still supposedly the reason for the cancellation is it being too expensive.

Another big reason of why people want this is because they can't have it.

But overall, I think Piranacon is one of the best G1 combiners. The 6th member isn't necessary to form the gestalt but that's the point he's got this awesome added feature of being a Targetmaster! I don't get why restricting to "animal" gestalts is a better comparison, I think it'd make more sense to restrict to "Scramble City" gestalts if you want a "fair" comparison. Comparing him to other SC guys, all these limbbots seem perhaps a step ahead of the other guys. They're much bulkier and more complex than those silly little Stunticons.

I think the 6th bot is very important... wouldn't it have been really cool if in CR/RID Ruination had gotten Piranacon-style fists and 1 of the Arielbot limbs was added to the set as a Targetmaster?

I was never sold on the Seacons, so there's no loss for me here.

I think the shark one that is the right arm is my LEAST favoritte Transformer of all time.  He's the only one of the seacons I have left, and I reember not even liking him when I was a child.  His Transformation is dull and pointless.

I never had Predaking, but my fav was the constructicons.

Do not own the Seasons, in fact they are among the last G1 combiners that I am missing. Along with Monstructor and Bruticus. But I do own R.I.D. Ruination as well as the Univerase one. (Kept it MIB).

I think Bruticus is not the best combiner. The chest plate is loose and he is very think. Same goes for the Aerialbots. Menasor has odd arms but other than that he is cool/

But the main thing is that you had 5 bots (or 6 in this case) that could form one giant. And during G1 these gestalts were big. I always liked them. I have also liked Overbite ever since I was a kid. A shark Transformer, how cool is that?

So purely for that reason I would want the Seacons to be released. It would be a cheap way of getting the whole set. And they are triplechangers, perhaps not the best ever made, but triplechangers nontheless.

Why release Bruticus for the 5th time (G1, G2, R.I.D, R.I.D grey version) in horrible colors? I mean the light orange is quite awful and the stripes do not help much. Had he been released in green with brown camoflage he would have looked a lot cooler.

If they did that, then they should also release the Seacons. Afterall, it is only the 2nd time for them.  :tftongue

Well...I had the seacons growing up and still have them all. COmplete with all their accesories. When I was a kid I dont think I appreciated how cool he is because since he wasnt on the show i never really played up the targetmaster ability, and then as an adult when I dug him out I was like..what does this guy have all these damn parts and an extra guy ! lol. Now I appreciate him and I actually use overbite, the shark as the Targetmaster since to me . he looks more like a Gun.

IMO...the universe repaints had horride color choices...just like the 2 bruticus repaings after the initial RID one. I have the grey version, however I so passed on the Orange Popcicle version LOL. SO I do no lament looseing the Universe Seacons.

I'd buy one if they ever released it. Not a big fan of the aqua color scheme original but if I had the cash I'd buy that one too. The God Neptune version is the only item I need to complete my BW II figures so I'd  even buy that one too

and if youre really want the seacons, go get the g1 version off ebay.

too much $$$

I was looking forward to getting them for under $30. :tfsad

I love the Seacons. They were always my favourite TFs growing up (I'm also a sucker for marine TFs). I know the Universe colours werent THAT great, but they were still pretty cool and they do grow on you. Tentakil and Skalor looked especially good as Seawing's flame-rainbow wings were awesome, not to mention Pirahnaking's (as he was called) combined form. And given all the weird, less-than-stellar TFs to come out of Universe, shouldn't we at least be given ONE good G1 mold that isnt those stupid Combaticons we've seen a thousand times?

Reading through this thread, I am disheartened by the lack of love for the Seacons (most of which coming from those who can't even remember the individual toys). But regardless of Piranacon/Piranhaking's colour, he still looks a million times better than no-neck Menasor or sickly-thin Superion.

Fans want the Universe Seacons. They really do. If you're lucky enough to get a complete G1 set, go ahead. But not everyone can. I for one already have the G1 set and the BWII set, and I would still love to see the new ones released. Hopefully, Hasbro will give us the Seacons at some point, hopefully we'll hear some good news at Toy Fair next weekend.
