So, is EVERYONE in "Cybertron"

Recommended Posts

It certainly seems that way. I mean, even the north American exclusives are getting painted again. Was there a press release, or something I might have missed somewhere?

my theory is that Hasbro originally wanted dozens of toys for the Cybertron line but since Takara has to foot part of the production bill and tf's aren't as popular in Japan, the amount of toys had to be cut back in order for Takara to make a reasonable return profit. so now Hasbro is filling in the empty spaces with repaints.

That...that actually makes sense.

In short: Probably.

or theyre just a bunch of cheap buggers. they repainted everything in energon.

Not Prime & Skyblast. (Yes, I've given this a little too much thought.)

*is clapping for hasbro for showing some restraint*

Is there not enough variety already that you guys aren't happy with the selection minus the repaints?

Honest question. I haven't really thought about it. I'm up to 44 bots in the cybertron line, ok including both mini con teams and one mini con two pack  :D but not counting LOC  , and with plenty more original molds to grab before I even get to any upcoming repaints I'm happy I think.

That's alot of new stuff for just one year.

Since there are pics of a red E Optimus Prime (not the japanese fire guts version), chances are that a Prime repaint was planned.

True. But he wasn't released. Those were some ugly colors.
