I wonder then, in the 2nd season are they going to continue with the licences? If not they could make their own versions of the Decepticons and make them with the same quality.

I'm also pretty annoyed about the con alternators. I guess it'd be ok if they used obscure characters, but I'd be really miffed if they made any of the well-known ones into cars. It just wouldn't fit them :tdown

they will prob use them. starscream will prob be first,why would they use lesser known decepts in a hot new toy line?

Hopefully if the Alternators do well, maybe we'll see the seekers in a year or two. but until then, we'll just have to do with these. A bit disappointing, but here's some thoughts/ideas on who should be who:

 

Sideswipe=Breakdown

Hound=Swindle

RX-8=Dead End

 

These are only a couple ideas. They would have to change the head molds for these guys.

you knwo when the question was asked if all the alternators will be 1;24 scale and the answer was yes, i knew from right thre that we woldnt get teh jets cause they would of had to be HUGE! and with that, a much larger price tag on them. so for that fact, i cant say im to disapointed that they are just gonna be cars

Im not so much dissapointed that theyre gonna use cars, as much as im dissapointed that they plan on using existing molds.

This is sad. Thank goodness I kept my G1 fighters. I wonder if the poor sales for the G1 reissues of Skywarp and Thundercracker had anything to do with the decision to NOT issue planes and just repaint the cars? Anyone know?

what it all comes down to is hasbro is too cheap to make new molds for decepticons... all i'm saying is hasbro and/or takara is taking advantage of us. don't let them. if you want jet(or what ever the case maybe) alternators/binaltech then let your voice be heard or don't buy the decepticon A/Bs maybe they'll eventually wake up and smell starsream's afterburners!!!

No offense but do you really think Hasbro or Takara gives a frig what we vocal online fans want? Case in point Fortress Maximus, Omega Supreme and Shockwave reissues... sadly they will probably never return. :tdown I too want Hasbro and Takara get the message, but I honestly do not think there are enough people who will stop buying the repaints for the sales to lower than expected. Also, the entire boycott idea can easily blow up in our faces. :wtf
