Weren't the Decepticons already vehicles in the Go-Bots line in the mid-90's? Albeit small vehicles.

The pic for Tracks in the Alternator section makes him ether blue or black and thankfully not yellow

The news about the 'con alternators is a little disapointing, but I can live with it. Maybe Stuntacons as others have said or the battlechargers maybe?

what it all comes down to is hasbro is too cheap to make new molds for decepticons. the past couple of years they've gone repaint crazy, i knew this was going to byte us in the ass. we all bought up the repaints saying "oh this is a cool new look" and hasbro ate it up saying "we don't need to make new molds cause our customers are gullible enough to pay the same amount of money for the same toy." look at energon tidal wave how many of you have the energon and armada versions?(same with unicron) you know what hasbro is saying? "SUCKERS!!", sure they changed some of them but most of those they did were the cheaper ones, the expensive ones for the most part were just repainted.(unicron and tidalwave)

 

all i'm saying is hasbro and/or takara is taking advantage of us.

 

don't let them. if you want jet(or what ever the case maybe) alternators/binaltech then let your voice be heard or don't buy the decepticon A/Bs maybe they'll eventually wake up and smell starsream's afterburners!!!

I am quite dissapointed by the news about the alt cons though. You'd think with all the car choices out there , theyd choose different cars for cons. Im not buying a bunch of black and purple repaints :redface

I'm also pretty annoyed about the con alternators. I guess it'd be ok if they used obscure characters, but I'd be really miffed if they made any of the well-known ones into cars. It just wouldn't fit them :tdown

I expected Decepticons to be cars. Afterall there is supposed to be only six molds and we have seen most of them.

6 molds for the first "season" if you will. If the line does well, it could continue past that.

 

Judging by early interest, I would say it stands a good chance of continuing past that.
