I disagree with "bad guys wear black". For example: Snake Eyes, Batman, Spiderman with the alien suit, Neo, John Preston, Luke Skywalker... And many more that I can't remember now. My Master Prime will be black.

:pfx and what i meant to say was r.i.d scourge is a optimus repaint cause every tf should know that...i think they should just name the black repaints of optimus nemesis prime it just has a better ring to it....soundz more malicious then repainting optimus and calling him scourge.... :tftongue

(sheesh, next you'll ask why Galvatron's Decepticon matrix was green...)

:wtf

Galvatron had a DECEPTICON matrix? i thought such a thing didnt exist... (i.e. quintesson scheme to get the decepticons to follow)

As well, (just wanted to add this in) the other matrix, technically or more prefferably, should be know simple as the MATRIX as opposed to the "autobot matrix of leadership" as both the Autobots and Decepticons were the children of Primus.

was refering to the fact that the e-hobby anime accurate Galvatron came with a Matrix that was green....and that there was a thread on asking why it was...and my response was that it was EEEEVILL......

otherwise knows as self referencing...

Actually, there are more "Black" Primes out there that have different color skemes and histories, some don't even have histories, simply exclusive black variants.

They did not start that "Scourge" business till RID.

Personally I would have preferred it if they kept that character around.  Unclear to me what was up with Nemesis Energon Prime.

I'm sure there's a list of the officially released "Black" primes out there.  The only one I can recall there being an actual story on was Lio from BWII.  They found some ancient camera and what ever it takes a picture of, it creates an evil (or good in the case of BB) duplicate.

I always thought about repainting a UK Pyro into a scourge variant, rather than Thunderwhats'it aka Machine Wars Prime.

I hate to be picky (actually I love to be), but wasn't Spidey's black symbiote costume itself evil?

Wow.. what 5 year old thought up that story?  :redface

I've always wanted to make a connection between RID Scourge and Nemesis Prime.  Universe N-Prime was a Unicronian, most likely an alternate reality Big Convoy that was seduced by the Choas Bringer (much like Universe Razorclaw.) so I kinda like to think that N-Prime is Scourge, just enhanced by Unicron and placed into the Armada/Energon/Cybertron-iverse (I like to call it the ACE reality).

It's not a theory that I can back up with any real claims, but I like it just the same.

The Symbiote in itself was not evil. It was a member of a race that wanted to use hosts to experience emotions and once a host was dead, it would move on.

The symbiote wanted to co-exist with its host so he was captured but his prison was brought to Battleworld by the Beyonder. Spider-Man released it and it bonded with him forming a new suit based on the new Spider-Woman.

When Spidey became more and more fatigued as well as suspicious of the suit he went to Reed Richards to have it examined. Reed discovered the suit was alive and that it wanted to bond to Spider-Man permanentely.

Reed found a way to seperate them and captured that alien but it finally scaped (with some outside help) and it found Spider-Man who "rejected it" by using churchbells to destroy it. It was not really destroyed and soon found Eddie Brock as its new host and both became Venom.

Their hatred for Spider-Man made them evil so I would not say that the symbiote was evil in nature. I think it origally was not but you know what rejection can do to someone.

I think a black Optimus Prime would rock. Final Battle Optimus Prime (Armada) was a step in the right direction. Being black does not mean evil, black could also mean you have style.

Angel also wears black and he is not evil (well most of the time he is not), same goes for the Punisher and he is a good guy. So he shoots criminals? That does not make him a bad guy.  :tflaugh

theyre both overtalked about characters to the point of annoyance. Who cares about an evil Prime?

The black armoured series of figures was just that Black armored versions... some of them were infact evil versions of the original.. but some weren't.

Scourge,Black Convoy is a complete different character that the other Nemesis Primes out there.... the RiD  I liked the character and the whole concept of that character..

Nemesis Prime was nothing but a illusion by Unicron....

Universe's version is wack to... Nemesis Primal sounds so much better...

It doesn't think so.

I kinda like them.
