X-bob, the continuties do NOT cross over. all Magmatron and Deathsaurus proves is that they've been taken into the US continuity. their roles have obviously BEEN CHANGED. REBIRTH IS CONTINUITY, AND NOTHING OVERRIDES IT

Yes, the japanese version of BW, not the us, european and canadian versions of beast wars.

roffle. i participated, not started.

Alright X-Bob, here's how it works.  Beast Wars was good, Takara recognized this, so they designed BW2 to tie into it.  The creators of BW had no interest in BW2 whatsoever, and made no effort to tie into it in return; in fact, I'd be highly surprised if Forward, DiTillio or any of the BW writers ever watched a single BW2 episode.

And the events of season's 2 and 3 of BW make it clear that Primal NEVER visited LioConvoy on Gaea, or whatever the hell the planet was named.  And don't give me that 'he forgot the events when his spark entered his TM body' crap.  We saw chunks of his body, it coasted through transwarp space/time in tiny pieces, there were no stop overs on Earth-like planets where they reformed, got his spark back, fought a battle, re-disembodied themselves, caught up to the wave, and continued their ride through to future Cybertron.  He got blown to pieces, his spark joined the Matrix, Rhinox pulled it back; that's it.

To say that BW fans outside Japan need to consider BW2 as cannon is like telling Bram Stoker fans that they need to consider 'Laurel and Hardy Meet Dracula' as cannon.

So is Airazor a boy to you?

I personally think that, when it comes down to continuity, the original version comes first.

So to me: G1, BW, BM, I follow the US storyline.  However, I believe that Car Robots, Micron Densetsu, SuperLink and Galaxy Force have the proper stories, though, and not RiD/Armada/Energon/Cybertron.  I realize that some of the Japan-only BWII and BWneo will probably contradict the US-BW, but I think the "starting" series has the priority in terms of storyline accuracy for contradicting facts/events.

So is Airazor a boy to you?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Airazor is female in the english version and male in the Japanese version... there's no "too someone" at all... that's like saying that just because someone said(joking or whatever) you're of the opposite gender, and you asked someone else if they belive it...

(if that makes any sense at all)
