I just clicked on it and wow, 20th Prime MISB "buy it now" for $99 plus $15 shipping.

 

Judging by what I just saw on your link they are right! a total of $160 of a toy that only costs $115 total is way out there.

 

one guy has 10 of them up there now at that price, yes.  When I posted my link on Jan. 17, said guy wasn't there and prices were higher.  I would not post a link blindly.

 

The only reason (I think) we see a whole lot of them on e-bay right now is because these guys were o clearence at Big-Lots once selling for $20.....of course not anymore....and in some cases, wal-mart for $50. so given that these guys are looking to make between $40 to $80!!!!

 

I'm going to wager that you didn't get yours for $20 or even $50.

 

I wish I would have gotten him that cheap.

 

My advice to you is to hang on to that 20th prime for a while. Let it actually appreciate in value. Maybe there will really be less of them and they will go up in value say maybe $300 or so. :thumb

As I was hoping for a quick sale, I am not in need of selling him.  I can wait, he will go up higher (I suspect as the movie gets closer to dropping, we'll see) than what I am asking for.

Problem here is everybody is expecting to get stuff for free now. They want MISB basics for $2-3, deluxes for less than $10 and supremes for $20. So when they see something outside of their social-welfare-like range, they start complaining. It's people like that who are killing the market. They think they deserve it all without any effort.

No Prob. RDD. Hell even if it did cost me more through RDD at least I know he sells a quality product and wouldn't steer anybody wrong. (Had many good deals with him) So for piece of mind I guess i'd pay a little more. Plus we know where to find you too!! LOL  :tflaugh Good luck boss and ignore the negative. You know, since you are not looking for a quick sale it is better to hang on to him for a while. Especially until all of those luck scalper who got im for $50 or $20 sell theirs and go away.

 

If you wait until after the movie you'll be able to rake in more money for this toy than you could have imagined. Real Profit!

 

I know all of the oter fans here sound negitive and bitchy but honestly you can use this to your advantage and gauge what your buyer might be like. These are dedicated fans who know the toy.....imagine dealing w/ someone who just wants something for their kids b-day or something......they want the cheapest price.

 

Hanging on to 20th prime would suit you better since you don't need the cash right away and you can get more than what you are asking for later on.

Yet days later, he kicks the coffin over and brings new life into something that died of disgrace last week. No offense to him, but that's not a moderator doing his "job" right. Moderators and Admins are definitely entitled to their opinion like the rest of us of course, they're human. However, they represent the board they "work" for (and I use the term loosely because no matter how much you think it's a job, it isn't. No pay, no benefits and if you believe INTERNET power over another is a benefit, God help you, because the world doesn't work like that. NOTE: This last part was not aimed at AM, it was a generalized statement for those who have "power" or wish to.) and because they represent the board and it's staff...they should be held up to a higher standard like they expect of us. Would you want to be the owner of a business and have your employee imply a customer is a tramp or bum and have them be your face for the public? No of course you wouldn't and if you do, you're either making a terrible joke, or so dumb you shouldn't BE in business.  AM's human like the rest of us, but the cavalier attitude, the opening of said can of worms, disregarding posts and threads in ATA (some of which are real and demand respect and an honest answer besides a basic "I don't give a Powerglide, this is how it is!") doesn't ingratiate him with anyone or at least those who like to have some respectability when they come here. INH is for posts that make you laugh and think twice about something, the rest of the board is divvied into sections appropriate for one thing or another and having a blause' attitude like it's all INH and one of their "childish" posters is disrespectful. Puts a bad face on the board.

RDD should just throw it onto eBay if he aims high.  From a fans point of view, I believe most people consider that price is a little high.
