didn't hasbro just use the mold of Ravage in 2001 for a botcon tigatron. And they lost it? How sad.

I think they should give most of the figures new head molds especially Rhinox and Tigatron. I'd also like to see a new Terrorsaur with his shoulder cannons and a sound chip with him screaming terrorize! Also a more show accurate air razor where she actually looks like a female robot. same goes for scorponok except the whole female thing. And I hope they make the transfomation on tm rattrap like it is on the show and with his gun.

DC, I was replying to what Screamer said.

Actually Dark Designs would be great for his DVD...

I was more praying we DON'T get the one where he blows up the preds by...ummm..."cutting lose"

First of all, what difference would it make if Hasbro "devalued" an 8 year old product that Takara is no longer profiting from?

Second, I'd really like to know why Ravage was never released stateside in the first place.  It was a NA program, after all.  Americans/Canadians/Ben Yee pretty much created the character of BW Ravage, right?  So why did they get the toy and not us?  That always pissed me off, and confused me, to no end... and I'm still sore, if you can't tell.

I like how Ben Yee is a nationality all on his own now.

:tflaugh  yeah.

those look so good. shame i'll have to import as i have lost all faith in hasbro uk

Ravage's toy wasn't conceived during the North American run because he was intended to be a simple one-shot character.  I'm not even sure if Hasbro had its hands in his inception into the mythos, or not, it could have simply been something that Mainframe cooked up.  Takara got the show after the fact.

Ravage was thought up, after the writers Bob and Larry, picked up a cassette ravage at a Botcon, and played with it.

That was the genesis for its inclusion in BW. Not hasbro.

Is that true? So if it weren't Ravage coming from the future to stop megs I wonder would it have been a true BW figure to appear.

plus there's the fact that Ravage's CGI model is clearly made from recycled parts.
