reminds me of G2 Gobot Prime. not sure if i'll buy him yet but i might.

Painted black and called Trailbreaker and it would be getting a lovefest ;)

I agree w/ the people over at the tfw2005 thread. The concensus over there is that it sucks hard core, looks mistransformed (still), and looks cheap overall. I am not sure that even if they make the BT version that it would look any better.

 

Definitely a crappy mold for OP, but could conceivably work for Kup, Trailbreaker, or Rodimus like people have suggested. Too bad that is unlikely to happen (more likely to see UM or Scourge or something).

I don't get that at all. Not being excited by the mold is one thing, but "sucks hard core"? I don't see how that makes any sense. Maybe people's expectations are higher because it's Optimus Prime, but seriously, what's wrong with it? It looks cool to me.

 

Of course, I'm not going to get it b/c I don't think they needed to make an Alt Prime to begin with, but I don't see any reason to hate him.
