I don't think those are his... if they were, he'd probably have shown them a long time ago. I saw those first about a year and a half ago.

Apologies if you are in fact David Thomas Jr. (the guy who made them).

Those are sweet. I think that Legos can be acceptable depending on where you are from and the content it is being used.

Nope, it has and always been lego. Like sheep. Legos is a wrod nmade up by tiny kids who call sheep sheeps. Those models really do kick ass but you can't nake good faces from leg, trhere aren't any bricks small enough dor the job.

Depends on what scale you're working at, and what kinda face. Obviously, the human faces are nigh impossible. A face like Soundwave's is pretty easy. Optimus', with the separate eyes, can be a bit trickier. BUt it is quite possible to render a decent head in Lego. Some examples from the gallery I linked above:

That prime could have seperate eyes quite easily, but you can't really make a megatron or starscream head without the head being aroun 6 inches tall. Molded faces would make it work but lego isn't big on giant robots.

i tired, but i think i tried to hard, had a really cool looking optimus, but never got around to finishing it, maybe someday!!
