I like the looks of that new civic :thumb But it does fit wheelie in the color scheme.

Anyways, I went for "make-by-yourself-your-own-VW-New-Beetle-Bumblebee" :tfgrin

I'm amazed that there's been so many voting no Bumblebee if no Beetle.

An Alt/BT Bumblebee, whatever it's alt mode, gives us a BT Quality Bumblebee head and most likely BT Bumble forearms or similar too.

For those who aren't arsed about the Alt mode, that's great, and for those who are it actually gives them a Bumblebee to bash into a VW that already has his head and other likenesses, so requires less work.

Hell, I'm sure some Asian company would be all over it and release a pre-cut Beetle kit within a month or two for non experienced bashers.

Way I see it, with an Alt BB everyone wins, with none, no one does.

C3 VTS surely is very close to the design needed to a modern Bumblebee. But as an icon of my generation, change the mold of BB for another car is a few disgusting. I voted no Beetle, No BB, but if Takara/Hasbro choose a new car to be BB/Cliffjumper, what You guess I`ll do? I`LL BUY THEY IMMEDIATLY! (only if they choose a cool car, cause, to be true, I dont care about the characters...)

sadly, it's those purists who hold G1 Bumblebee as some sort of sacred cow that are keeping HasTak from making an Alt/BT version out of fear of massive backlash.

BEETLE FOREVER!!!!!!! Actually the that C3 VTS and that Vitz/Yaris thingamabiby looks to have a small enough hood. That's what Im worried about. If he's not gonna be his Trademark vehicle, he damn sure better have the same transformation.

And if they do get the Beetle after BB is made, Make BB the first Alt to get a new body.

Bumblebee (or Bumblepest as I like to call it) was to me what Wheelie was to a lot of TFans.

I want Bumblebee to soooooooooo much be a VW New Beetle. As a Giant fan of VW I always saw Bumblebee as the New Beetle Turbo and Cliffjumper as a GTI R32. But since VW dosen't want their cars portraying forces of goodness and taking away the stigma of Germans becoming good guys, I'd love to see these guys as (for Cliffjumper) that Cleo V6 and (for Bumblebee) The Dodge Neon SVT. The Neon SVT would be a great car for both Bumblebee and Cliffjumper but I always saw them being slightly different in some way.. They both definately need a boost of power though and just to see these guys on the shelf and in my collection I wouldn't mind the body change. Hey, most of these guys changed their outer shell anyway. Why change the trend?

I wasn't really annoyed but Bumblebee, but I was definitely indifferent to him. Given the options, though, I voted for another vehicle to be Bumblebee, G1 "purity" be damned.
