the stasis pods probably shielded them. silverbolt and quickstrike awoke after the surge. tigatron and airrazor were zapped by that plant before that werent they?

The Plant event happened during the middle of season 2. The quantam wave that reformatted everyone was at the beginning of season 2. They show Tigertron and Airrazor being hit by the wave. Then Tigertron looks confused because it's not doing anything to him.

and this is off topic but where was bumblebee in the movie?

Did you see the movie? Did you see the scene where Unicron ate the moon that Bumblebee and Spike were working on? It's an infamous seen since Spike swear at that point. Did you see the scene where Daniel frees the Autobots and Spike from inside Unicron's stomach?

Well that's were Bumblebee was, inside Unicron's stomach

I think Scavanger would of been kind of hard to do on the show anyway with his hands being drills and such. Prior to being re-introduced to Transformers, I remember seeing commericals for regular Inferno and then looking into a catalogue and seeing the 'meched out version' and thought they looked like the same character.

He's still one of the better non show TMs though. Never was to fond of the others.. Airrazor and Terrorsaur seemed to be the weaker ones of the line.

Eh, to each their own.  :thumb .. I think it has something to do with the way his legs are done.. I'm more of a fan of Tarantulus and Rattrap myself.

I was a fan of Tarantulus forever. He was one of the last BW figs I put away. Now that I've dug up Scavie, I have an intense love for him. It's like he's brand new again. Hell, he even has better articulation then some current figs.

Haha.. I've done that a few times. Rediscovering stuff is always fun.

From what I understand, the only ones tha tgot transmetalized were the ones who were actually "born" on Cybertron, hence Rattrap, Megs, Cheetor and Tarantulas.  Rhinox, Dinobot adn Waspy were protected by the stasis pods, and Airrazor, Tigatron, blackarachnia and Inferno came out of their pods after they crashed on earth.
