smrt,

I'm looking to eventually get Takara Soundwave, Megatron, and Hound. I would mind just looking a the B/T guys -- I've yet to see one in person, but I don't know if I'd actually buy one -- depends on price, and/or how jonesing I was, I guess. And then there others like Worlds Smallest and Robot Masters that I'm curious about.

Hey Bluestreak. The store in Crystal Mall is the same store in Richmond. It's called Ultra Action Toys and they stock quite a lot of Japanese toys there and will buy a lot of your old stuff too.

As far as I know...they have all the Takara Reissues (with Hound coming this week or soon) and all the Binaltech (with Dead End also in this week or soon).

I'm waiting to get my Dead End from them. Generally, the Richmond Store will get the stock first, then the Metrotown. Their prices are a little on the higher side, but they are definitely TF collectors and know thier stuff.

The funny thing is...the Richmond Store's top shelves are lined with mostly old/new TFs and other Japanese Gestalt Robots around the whole store. You should check it out.

**EDIT** Forgot to mention they got a lot of Superlink stuff too

Walmart Capilano

Alternators Hound and silverstreak - sold out now

Thanks hateMONGER!

That's good info! I'll probably check out one of those stores in the next week or so. How much is the Takara Hound reissue?

As per Walmart Streak and Hound -- YEA!! -- however, as expected, Walmart Langley and Surrey are bare (same stuff as the last time I reported -- except the Energon Overload is now gone). As is the Langley TRU.

Good luck all!

1 box of REISSUE OPTIMUS PRIME!!!

59.99

Thanks hateMONGER!

np...not sure about the reissues as I don't collect them, but I can tell you that Binaltech goes for $85 when they have lots of stock, $105 when they have limited stock.

Right now, the only one at that higher price is "Streak" or "Silverstreak" here.

My guess is around $50-60 for reissues.

I buy from Ultra Action Toys all the time. I'm pretty sure Hound will have a starting price of $55.

I was just in there about 20 mins ago...and they have 2 Prime's there.

Thanks again hateMONGER, and smrt.

I have news. Bwahahahaha! Bulkhead is mine! I picked him up at Walmart Abby today. There was also one of each Signal Flare and Stong Arm repaint, and one Arcee.

Bulkhead is brilliant. I love his articulation and his powerlinx mode. I doubted he would be able to stand in his powerlinx mode but he can -- no trouble. His rotor spinning mechanism is smooth and the blades spin for a good amount of time. His transformation and sound effect and light effect are very solid. His head/face mold is my new favourite in Energon. Solid figure all the way around.

My only gripe is that his front torso flips down (say like G1 Hot Rod), but does not seem to lock nito place. Not a big deal overall. Totally worth the $39 +tax.

my two energon cubes.

I checked out Ultra Action Toys at Crystal Mall today. Very cool stuff. I suppose if I had the cash I'd get a Takara release or two -- it was nice to see the B/T Streak and Hound -- they do look much better in diecast than in plastic. So I know where I can go when I have the cash, at least. I didn't see much in older TF stuff, though, but that's okay; I'll likely grab the Takara Hound anyway.

Weird mall layout though. It took me a while to find the store. It didn't appear to be on the "you are here" type mall map. So I just walked around till I found it.

Oh, and I stopped by Metrotown TRU, lotsa Universe stock, but otherwise... nada.

Be well.
