I think there are three "Sideswipe" customs...I made one, STPrime did another, and TFMaster recently put his up on TFMaster.com

 

Here's mine to get a good look at the size of the head:

I thought it was too big at first too...but the more I look at the head on the Prowl body...the better I think it looks, and it really works with the transformation.

I also love that Armada Wheeljack. I think Sideswipe's head would be fine, since Prowl's chest is so large. A small head would get lost in all that hood. JMO

  Its cool to see Fans Creating customs of Characters outside of G1. Rampage/ A.Wheeljack is one of the most interesting TFs & this Kitbash is a Great homage.

Alright...here is the first look at the weapons Armada Wheeljack will have...you guys may recognize them...this mold fits Wheeljack so awesomely...

 

Just so everyone knows...if you remove the transparent red paint from Prowl's Blight or Night Stick...its clear underneath...so then you can paint it any color you want. 

 

Originally I was going to paint them solid yellow like the Armada toy...but that wouldn't be very cool...

 

Nice job.  I might have to to this to a Prowl of my own.  Possibly with the Blue version so I don't have to mess around with filling in the holes for the lightbars/blue interior.  The fact that the Night stick is clear underneath and not red plastic is almost like a sign that Prowl was made to be repainted into Armada Wheeljack.  Sweet deal.

That looks really good. Alt Prowl is definitely best suited for Armada Wheeljack.

 

A couple of things though. The gash in the hood looks awsome but I think the circitry beneath needs more detailing/refining. I know it'll look great once you get the insiginia on it. Also I think Miesters head is better suited that the Sideswipe one. Sideswipes head doesn't exactly strike me as Wheeljacks.

 

Whatever you decide, can't wait to see the final pics. Best of luck with it. :thumb

man that is good, the cut is well done and i like the black over the blue as well  :tftongue , so somebody's done red-aleart, and i think i saw hot shot, wonder who else could be made from the armadaverse
