Another Subaru. Hmm ok not too bad of a repaint. Hope he has Jazz`s head so that he looks G1.

 

Another Jeep. This time a straight repaint in orange (my favorie color) and actually doesn`t suck in that color. Unlike the yellow althoug you do see more yellow ones on the road than orange ones but eh.

 

And finally Prime. Well the obvious is that I knew they would continue with the similarity to my BT Rodimus with the doors hanging off of his shoulders. I know you guys are expecting a comparison pic so I will. But first remember I`m not going to sue them so please don`t go off on the Roddy VTS is going to sue Hastak rants ok!?!

I need to take new pics of him with his new rims and tires.

 

Too bad they didn`t figure out how to build the bed into a base like I did with mine. Because then Alt Optimus would totally rock! :tftongue

"Oh the Humanity!!!!!" As in why`d I post a comparison pic? Or Why didn`t Hastak figure out how to make the bed into a base like I did?

 

Not sure why they didn`t figure out how to make the bed into a base after all on my original design I used a two door and the bed of that one became a base.

 

Answer to the first question just for fun. I did the comparison pic because now that I can see where the doors go in bot mode (remember the old pic doesn`t show them in bot mode) the top half looks exactly like my BT Rodimus Prime. But I posted just for fun and because perhaps some others might want an idea fro what to do with this second Alternator scaled Optimus. Now granted they`d probably all just do a straight up repaint but if you take the body of Alt Optimus and the head from Skids you`ll get one kick butt Rodimus Prime. Esspeacially if Alt Ops comes with his matrix. Have fun all.

As I said I posted it just for fun. I`m sorry if you think I`m being a jerk or something. I just think that now that we can see more of what Alt Optimus looks like we can see just how similar the two figures are. As for your Nemesis Prime Ford GT v.s. Mirage Ford GT the transformation schemes are totally different. Also like I said enough about me wanting to sue already. I don`t want to nor do I think that I`d have anything to put a case together on except for the dates of my posts but I doubt that would be admissable. I`m just saying that it`s really cool how similar the two are. I just started kitbashing in August of last year with my Alt Bumblebee which I still have but I plan on redoing him later and I put together a tf scheme that is almost identicle to the one they did. Which I might add since he has a base mode I think is better. So just so you know I think that until we get the final pics of Alt Optimus I`ll just leave the threads about Alt Optimus alone.

 

Just so you guys know I will be getting Alt Optimus since I`m an Alternators completist. :tfgrin

For all the Richochet/Rollbar haters, I had a thought.

 

Instead of straight repaints with new names after the originals have all sold, would you prefer them be straight repaints with the same name as the orginal released at the same time? (think red Miester, yellow Tracks, blue Prowl, 1&2, 7&8 Smokescreen)

:pfx The new repaints with new names are just fine by me. I`d of liked to see Richochet as an RX-8 but I can live with the Subaru Richochet.

Is that a painted proto of Mirage? :eek  Or is that a kitbash?  I've only seen a non painted proto...

I would at least like new head sculpts. At least put a repainted head of Jazz on the Subaru, not like a new mold for the head would be required.

Rodimus, I am not mad, nor am I ticked off at anyone. I was being sarcastic - I need to remember that my wit sometimes doesn't relay very well when typed.

 

Also... I know that my BT and the Alt Mirage are two totally different schemes - I was again, being sarcastic.
