If I play my cards just right, I should be able to get the Deluxe Optimus Prime and Starscream figure.

Go for the deluxe Optimus Prime. But since he will cost much more (from what I have seen) I placed my vote as Downshift. It may be a while until he comes out, but I think that he is the best looking Deluxe figure so far. But Starscream would really kick Rodimus's @$$, so it would not be fair to Rodimus to get Starscream.

:redface Ya need Starscream. Truly one of the most perfect action figures made...sweet alt mode...awesombe bot mode...cool in the show...cool to display...cool to run around the house making flying noise...err...not that I have EVER done that...really...honest!

Experiencing G2 Smokescreen first, I'd have to counter by saying that Starscream is not perfect. There are a bunch of things that really irk me about the engineering. Namely the upper arm swivels. 1 millimetre lower, and they would have had proper clearance to swivel with the shoulders in actual poses. As they are, they only work when the upper arms are straight. Then there's the unnecessary "ratchets" in his knees, which hamper the range of his poseability even further. And then proportionally, his shoulders are too high, and his look would have benefitted somewhat if they divised a way for his shoulder mounts to slide downwards slightly. Don't get me wrong, he's a great toy, but when the engineering work's practically been done already, and the predecessor did it better, there's something wrong.
