And why did Cheetor suck so badly you wanted to sell him to get the normal version?

Never got into the Beast Wars/Machines part of the TFU. I tried, but for me it was too much a departure from what I grew up with and loved. Plus I just didn't care for the toys....at all. I thought they were hideous.

 

I'm surprised the Cybertron animal/beast figures are appealing to me (exceptions being Backstop, Wreckloose and Undermine).

OT: is Menasor and Quickmix going to be Ultra Class too?

the first thing you need to remember is that Supreme Screamer came first and that Takara later down scaled him into a mega. the only reason why Supreme Screamer was released later is because Hasbro delayed Cybertron's release to make room for their SW:ROTS toyline. now as for Supreme Screamer himself, i figured that since he comes with the G1 crown then maybe he was suppose to lead the cons for the first few episodes before Megatron returned and reclaimed his throne, kind of like E-Scorpinok. that idea was abandoned probably because Gonzo wanted to do a reset rather than a continuation.

I think they said Quickmix will be a Voyager class and Menasar would be Deluxe. Idunno. the 'balance' of the planets thing with the toyline (one ultra, one voyager, one deluxe, two basics) seems a bit off.

Metroplex I think is gonna be either a supreme class or a leader class.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's pretty sweet, and when I can find him on sale for about $30, I'll snatch him up...

If Hasbro never made another Supreme size bot, Would you even notice? They only thing that makes us want certain stuff is the fact that it exist at all. I would have been happy with a Crown wearing, electronics having Voyager class bot.
