I don't mind star wars transformer figs. Heck, I was doing designs for star wars figures years ago. But these just don't look good. And that's really going to hurt this line.

*waits for Jango Fett repaint of Bobba Fett

While poking around I found this. http://www.hasbro.com/starwars/pl/page.new...EED/default.cfm A statue featuring this scene would make sense but an action fig? err

duh its fire guts Grievous

man thier ideas team must be using any idea

I'm rather liking these.

^Fire guts Greivous! HA! Wish I'd come up with that.

I am still in the majority in that I really don't like the concept of having the ships turn into their characters (or yes, there mechs that just happen to look a whole lot like the character driving them). I think that they should have had the ships just turn into some bad-ass looking TF-like bot instead, but I will admit that b/w the ships (which I think all look good), and the improved design of the "mechs" I might actually pick up some of these.

Whoever said the bad guys from each movie get the best treatment is right. Darth Maul looks good either way, Vader looks pretty good as a mech and good as a TIE Fighter, Grievous looks ok in both modes and Boba Fett looks eh. The ones that really suck are the Jedi. Luke looks terrible in mech and ok in X-Wing, and Anakin and Obi-Wan both look good as ships, but like crap in mech.

I still agree w/ what I said before, I might just buy some of these for my nephew (a 5-yr old SW and TF freak, a great kid) and see if they are any good.

Looks like Maul will become a fodder base for kitbashing along with Grievous

i see many possibilities. :thumb

:mwahaha  :mwahaha

I don't know why, but I just can't get interested in these figs.

Some of them look pretty okay (like said above, mainly the bad guys),  but it just doesn't do anything for me. I like SW (a lot), I like TF's (a lot), but mixing these things is not something that I like. I might still buy a few of these when they go on discount, but that's the only way.

Absolutely not interested.

I think Maul would make a nice kitbash for Bludgeon. Grevious is still my favorite one so far. Fett looks okay, but no big deal.

As an old fart I'd have to say 'I'm loving the concept of this line!' :luv

It was Star Wars that made robots popular! after all in the 70s the most you got to see was the occasional godakin or shogun warrior, and the most you got to see on tv was recycled 50s/60s cardboard robot suit crap!

Most of us older fans know full well that the transformers series (original) was a loose rip off of starwars, so it's fantastic to see the two coming together, true some of the desighns arn't the best but for me the line is a fun thing to look foward to  :bounce
