I scored a complete original Powermaster Prime for $10 last year, but after reading some reviews on how much better was the reissue, I decided recently to find one. Found the Takara version on Ebay for a good price a few weeks ago and I finally received it today.

 

Wow. Night and day. Die-cast in the cab. 2 trailers. All the chrome. Clear windows. Darker grey. Sharp stickers. Powermaster Prime was already my favorite Prime (I love combiners and bases, so to get 2 in the same package is like a match made in heaven), and this one easily tops it. Ok, Godbomber kinda sucks on its own, but as added armor or 2nd trailer, he's pretty cool.

 

Btw, if anyone is interested, I have an extra unused sticker sheet.

One of the few that have powermaster prime as their favorite prime.

He's mine as well. And yes, the reissue is totally awesome -- everything that fans of PM Prime wanted him to be in the first place. (well, except for a little articulation... :redface)

Loved him as a kid and still love him now. It looks like Prime only as the Sgt Savage version.

 

It also helps that power masters are awesome. Its not that their gimmicks were good, it was that it allowed all of the individual molds to be good as well.

I loved Ginrai the toy...then I saw Masterforce...and he just rocks! Packed with weapons, throw in God-bomber ("Apex Armor" and you have a winner...

i still need to nab a God Ginrai, or the re-issue. However I Love PM Prime, not my fave, but in combined mode he has a stong presence and a powerful one at that (6 guns in full attack?! i mean c'mon!!!).

i had pm prime as a kid and he wasnt nearly as cool as the reissue. the diecast and chrome adds so much more.

I picked this guy up a few weeks back off of ebay for $2.  :tfgrin

So much better than the western release, the extra height he gains and the shiny goodness just seem to add so much.

yes, god ginrai is a good figure .

i haven't bought reissue one, i only got e-hobby gold god ginrai
