Guys, c'mon - we are all getting a little bit of an ego bruising, aren't we?

 

One thing that the 'seasoned' guys need to remember, (including myself) is that there has been a serious influx of new members here recently. Most if not all ARE newbies, and don't really understand or respect the "unspoken" rules that we have.

 

For example, in the End Cap section when someone posts a new piece for sale or trade, usually the first one to reply with an interest has the first consideration for a deal. Someone else replying just 5 minutes later trying to "outsell"or "out trade" with a better deal is just in bad taste. Although the trader / dealer is free to deal with whoever he/she wants, this "outdoing the other guy" really has to go.

 

I mean, seriously... the veterans have all seen this before. New member, tacky name, disrespectful, steps on own toes, then banned. It's just a llittle more than usual lately.

 

I think that it is a situation of misunderstanding here. WraithVerge, I know you rock with kitbashes and customs. You have even helped me a few times with suggesstions on my work, weather you knew it or not.

 

Dalianjj, that is a nice piece of work you have there. Regardless if you made it yourself or not, just try to explain the back history as best that you can. Communication is the best way to avoid these types of responses.

i agree ..things have been too far already... the only thing that i feel is wrong is that this should not have been posted in this thread since it,s not really a kitbash nor a custom.... but rather a new seller(dalianjj since he has only a few post i assume you came here so you could sale some) who wants to offer us something allot of you guys wanted ...a rather affordable transformable trailer.... i make some to sell but since it,s hand build at 95% and takes allot of time i have no choice to sell them the price that i do... so i think it,s a great undertaking but maybe not in the right thread....

 

also dalanjj i hope you dont build a mp-02 trailer an exactly carbon copy of the g1 since he,s REALLY UGLY and would perhaps not peak allot of interest ...maybe just in trailer mode..... for the mp-01 trailer it can pass since it,s not really the main item but an exact copy of the mp-02 in my opinion is not a great idea.... but that,s only my opinion....

 

try to be a bit more inventive and you,ll have allot more sale !!!

I think the trailer looks great, but I would be interested to see what type of plastic is used for it.

 

All I know is that people were Starscreaming that MP Prime came w/ a cardboard trailer and were clamouring for something better, then we got the Justitoys or whatever trailer and that wasn't good enough b/c it didn't open, etc. Now we have the option of buying this one that is spot on the same as the original trailer just too scale (better than the other trailer I might add) that opens, has Roller and the gun tower and people are still Starscreaming?? It really does say something about Transfans when they finally get exactly what they want and they still complain.

 

I personally think the trailer looks very nice, but the price is much too steep for many people to buy it. I understand that a lot of money was spent on this, but to make a sale, you have to make it affordable. My suggestion it to drastically lower the price and make many many more sales (I guarantee that people would buy it if it were cheaper), plus that gives the naysayers the opportunity to buy one and see the quality for themselves. Which is better to sell 10 trailers at $150 and leave hundreds sitting around in the warehouse, or to sell 1000 at $50-$75 and have to make more to fill the demand?

 

Anyway, dalianjj thanks for providing all the pics and information. Now you just need to lower the price and I am sold.

True!! True!! I also think you`ll sell a hell of alot more if you can underbid that half-assed trailer of Prime`s that didn`t even transform.

 

That`s why Wal-mart is golden. Underbid everyone. You`ll sell tons!
