I'll probably pass on this unless I see him on clearance.  He looks good, but he just doesn't do much for me.

Again, Galvatron looks like Megs (and is waaaaayyyy better) and Megs looks like he shoulda been Galvatron (who is unimpressive really).

 

I will probably also wait until it goes on clearance.

 

Ill get this version eventually. Probably when he is on mark down somewhere...I just can not see paying $40 again for the same toy in better colors. WHy cant they release the better colors 1st , and Does Old Megs  ALWAYS  have to turn into Galvatron? Cant he ever just be as kick ass from the get go? LOL

Only thing that looks like G1 Megs is the colors.

G1 Megatron figure was a disproportioned lanky figure who was prone to breakages

 

The only good aspect was that he transformed into a gun, that was his only good Novelty, he wasn't even impossing as a figure and didn't really look like his TV version at all.

 

Therefore, I like the Cybertron Galvatron better...

This is the first time that a Galvatron figure has not been a compleatly new mold in japan :P

That would be my point. Megs should be gray/silver and black, Galvatron should be the day-glo colors.
