looks like the got the colours the wrong way round. megatron was more galvatron colours, and now galvatron is a kickass homage to megatron. try putting down his "horns". he looks a lot like G1 megs.

I really like the bio on this one. It kind of explains why Megatron transformed after being beaten by Metroplex. It's still silly, but having his anger unlock Unicron's power makes a bit more sense than whatever went on in GF.

Can any one tell if there are any differences  from the Galaxy Force counterpart?

Some body buy this for me.........NOW! I'll wait till he's $15 bucks at the walmart whose shoppers hate Megatron. They still have like 10 Energon black packaging Megs from May 2004.

Sweet, he looks as shiny as the GF version! Any owners of both that can make a more detailed comparison?

 

Too bad I can't afford him right now, I'll be waiting for the wave that comes with Metroplex.

Ill get this version eventually. Probably when he is on mark down somewhere...I just can not see paying $40 again for the same toy in better colors. WHy cant they release the better colors 1st , and Does Old Megs  ALWAYS  have to turn into Galvatron? Cant he ever just be as kick ass from the get go? LOL

On the GF version the gold highlights on the chest are yellow.

 

The crotch piece on the Hasbro version might be a lighter tone, or it might be the flash.Not sure.

I know I'm not the only person who thinks that "Galvatron" matches that EXTREEM 80's color scheme they gave to Master Megs... (and vice-versa)
