i've been kicking around an idea for a full menasor, since we already have dead end and, um, "decepticharge".  i want to find a cheap headless 20th prime (for motormaster) and a car that has room in it for a second big head for menasor.  the other parts (feet, hands, connectors) would lego-together to hopefully make a race-car tow trailer for motormaster.

 

so far, this has been a pipe dream, but if i get another prime, i can draft up the pieces and make them out of aluminum at work.

 

the final toy would be... big.  and if any of you want to steal this idea, go ahead, as i would like to see other people's takes on this as well.

I really really really want and Old style beetle/Bumblebee that transforms in the same way that C-redalert does....

I'm working on one right now....but I'm not familiar with the transformation scheme of C-RA. It's slow going though, but I'll let you know how it goes.

The one thing i would change of course is to actually have his head fold INSIDE the car when in altmode.  Of course i have no idea how to do that - but either using like a "sunroof" panel on the top or by having the portion of the hood flilp open like Alt Mazda/jeep/Subaru does. and then teh head slides up.

Well, I'm doing MP devastator, and I plan on using bionicle as the basis. So, don't  let size throw you. Besides, using alts is going to be fairly heavy and difficult to work with, but it can be done. Keep in mind; planning is key in any project.

Well I`m planning two right now. First up is a repaint/head swap for our buddy Epitaph, then I think I`ll add to the movie characters and make Kup by reshelling the Prowl mold with an SSR model. The next project after that is possibly an MP Starscream.

I'll be putting together the rest of Stunticons. Unfortunatly they'll really only be head-swaps with a few paint app's. Maybe some stripes for DeadEnd (different DE than Alt. DE)

 

After that I'll be looking for an Alt. Skids on the cheap to kitbash him into my truck. Guess we'll see how that goes as that'll be my first attempt at a kb.

I've been planning an Alt Gi Ironhide out of a red model kit of a full-sized van, but financial resources have held me back. However, I'm almost glad it did - I was originally going to pretty much hack and chop all sorts of parts to get it to work, but I think it could easily be done with BT Skids - or preferably an Alt variant, if he comes out over here...
