Master Technology

Targetmasters>Headmasters

As far as I'm concerened, Breastforce are masters. We're also forgetting action masters, were the larger robot ttransforms into a Gi-Joe and the smaller robot transforms into a piece of crap.

This is the height of TF tech, baby!

:tflaugh

Stupidest line, best molding tho', especially the heads.

I was only going to include the master technologies that were covered in the anime and tv magazines.  I still think targetmasters arent all they are cracked up to be.  I mean they left hte Autobots in "The Rebirth" effectively making them about as dangerous as a kitten.  But I did forget Powered Masters.  Does anyone know what was the deal with them?  The only explaination I could come up with was that they could combing together with other powered masters to form either large micromaster cities or large vehicles but no robot form.

Headmasters I think are one of the missing links from the Micromaster world building up to big TF size.

Targetmasters.  Where else can you use your best friend to kill bad guys on the battlefield, and then transform into a little guy so he can go get you a cheese sandwich…

Seriously, in the world of the transformers where everything can be a living being, the weapons would probably evolve into side kicks like this.

Head masters, easiest way to take care of a headmaster is to blow or rip off its head.

Brainmaster’s how ever was a lot harder to do that with.  You might be able to shoot off its face, but the head will not come off, its attached.  And the elevator and intricate parts to a brainmaster does not make it cheaper than a headmaster (probably why there are not a lot of brainmasters to begin with, I can think of 4).

Brainmasters are also more powerful than Headmasters because with the exception of FT Max, they can combine with others to make super robots.  Chromedome only wishes he could.

Powermasters…for that extra boost, and that friend’s helping hand, slap a couple smaller bots around into batteries and stick em where ever.  FEEL the power!!!!

Pretenders…um…I like the idea that they were robots disguised as humans that could change into fighting robots.  The other way round also kinda works, humans into robots, but when we get into obvious monsters that can become smaller, seemingly less impressive and powerful robots it kinda looses something.  (I’d be much more scared of Bludgeon or the skull head guy from MF, than their robot counterparts).

You left out Action Masters, which cast aside the BRICK robot transformations so they could become a lien, mean fighting robot machine…with other sidekicks that transformed.  Till they started to develop TF’s that could actually be posed in robot mode, this was about all we had to get close to their cartoon counterparts.  Neucleon (pardon the spelling) for super power!  What could say Blaster really do as a radio anyway?  Much more bad arse robot with a big arse gun.  STOP RIGHT THERE DECEPTICON!...or I’ll play some rap music!

Remember the original idea with Transformers was that they were machines driven by small humanoid men.  Evolution of this would take that idea and have the men become part of the larger machine, head, chest, gun what ever.  Then no little guy at all.  Then other larger robots merging into a huge one.

Till all are one...

depends on the story - in japan and america the ideas and what made them badass were way diff -

in jap - headmasters were the original robots - in am - the smaller robots were human hosts who once combined became something more.

godmasters or powermasters in jap were so much stronger b/c they combined body and soul with a human.

brain masters I will tell u about when I finish victory-if anyone can explain this that would be kickass [like is the brainmaster a robot or human host - I am guessing robot] - I do know for a fact that star saber is the most powerful warrior - so brain masters are most likely the strongest until after victory when star convoy arrives - in america this existed on the back of a box and possibly in marvel comics - but I am not even so sure brainmasters even ever came here - so I am kinda foggy on it.

The only advantage I could think of for Brainmasters was better protection for the Master, than a Headmaster Transecter could provide. Think about it,  The Brainmaster's body is in the chest, while the Headmaster is vunerable just sitting thier on top of the Transecter

BTW I was a Barborshope called "Headmasters" :rofl

You were a barbershop huh? That must have been quite the experience

Actually I love Action masters, I was just offering the opinion that I knew would follow when I mentioned them.

Powered masters implies that the toys are all powered by batteries and can all move at once. It has no story place, merely a toy gimmick.
