I hope they dont cheap out. Sigma 6 Heavy Duty is way bigger than the other Joesand is still the same price and is highly detailed.

"Size" isn't really the best way to compare prices. A better indicator of costs is complexity/number of parts. Does Heavy Duty have as many accessories as Storm Shadow or Snake Eyes?

Vector Prime is a bit taller than Jetfire, but Jetfire has lots of ratcheting joints in his arms and legs that require more pieces.

I get what your saying. At the same time, Heavy Duty is not only bigger, he has added arm articulation that the other figs dont have He doesn't have as many accessories as Snake Eyes but the ones he does have are huge. I guess this is like Alt Prime being in the same price group as the other Alts.

It was said at Botcon that pricepoints are largely determined by plastic weight.  Not by height/wingspan/size/whatever, but by how much material is actually used to produce the given figure.  More moving/internal parts naturally means more plastic compared to a similar-sized figure that's mostly hollow, and the price may have to be adjusted accordingly.

Of course, some optimizing is done, so that they don't wind up with figures that are rediculously tiny for their price, or whatever.

Speaking of this, Unicron feels like a big hollow mess. I didn't pay 50 for it, I just couldn't believe he was 50.
