How come on Cybertron they are calling Crosswise Smokescreen?  Another dubbing goof?

Miscommunication.  During the design phase, Crosswise's original name was Smokescreen, but Hasbro opted for Crosswise later in the game.  Apparently, the dub team didn't get that memo, and wound up dubbing him as Smokescreen early on.  That problem will be addressed, though, with future episodes calling him Crosswise proper.

Huh? The mistake's not because it's a dub or anything.  Voicebox was initially supplied with the original name of Smokescreen to use, and somewhere down the line, they missed the part where Hasbro switched it to Crosswise.

Actually, I'd prefer the other (and much easier) option, in which they wouldn't change the damn character names!  :P
