Inspired to put bits and pieces of a fan fic out there...but I have not the time to iron it all out. 

 

Bits went something along the lines of a Matrix Quest.  The top of the line Industrial machine, (same class as Prime and Magnus) are all rebuilt from fallen Autobots in heroic and selfless deeds are chosen to be these closest to Gladiators in the Autobot army.  They must prove which of them is the best to lead  and be given the Matrix of leadership. 

 

Prime and Magnus everyone knows.  Overload, the blue prime, Shining the yellow, and Nemesis the black.  Basic back-story, yellow is a religious nut, all about Primus, honor and following the one true god Primus.  Overload is by the book justice, but restricted to the job, does not think out side the box.  Nemesis of course is the spy, and wants to steal the Matrix for himself…telling Megatron that he will of course get it for him, smuggles in Megatron as his weapon of choice. 

 

The path is set for these 5 to venture down into the heart of Cybertron and confront its deepest and darkest secrets (no organic mumbo jumbo here.)  To re-energize the empty shell of the Matrix and determine who among them Vector Cigma will choose. 

 

You might think you know how it ends, what with Optimus being Prime and all…but that ain’t all there is (no won’t resort to saying more than meets the eye, bah!)

I remember the Care Bears has a similar colour scheme. Maybe you can even put a symbol on their grill (much like those on the Cybertron key) to signify which character is which, and when they line up together, they can all open their Matrix chamber and blast anybody they hate with their Stare.

I like the blue one.  Yellow...I don't even have the remale of that, ain't no way I'd consider making a yellow MP...unless maybe if someone gave me one...and $5...and I had made the other 2 already...
