Yea, I don't like the new fishbowl packaging, too crappy IMO. If I can't find the red boxed when then I guess I'll wait for that version, I completely forgot about that. :tard

Remember, Shopko is charging $24.99 for alts, so some of those auctions started out below retail.  I'd rather pay a bit more through an auction format then to pay "Finders Fees", when, in all reality, that person would have been at that store anyway.  :D

i dunno about finders fee, i mean if its worth on ebay for $50, im selling it for a $50!  if its worth a dollar im selling it for a dollar!  its all about the value of the toy.  Your asking for a reasonable price for a toy in a collectors messageboard?  your not gonna get it, but there might a kind soul somewhere who would sell it to you for reg price, i wouldn't hold my breath though.  like i said, Rose's offer aint that bad!

I get the majority of my transformers from online fans, within days of the first sightings,  for retail plus shipping. I do it for others, and they repay the effort.  It's not about the money, it's about helping out a fellow fan.  :)

There's a difference between fair market value and a surcharge.

If I went to the next state to buy rr an alt I would be tempted to charge milage, but if you are just going down the street and are being greedy then you arent a fan, you are a scalper...

One time after dropping my wife off at work and having driven a ways from her place of employ, I realized that I had to take a leak.  Remembering that there was a Target nearby, I headed over there - figuring that I could look for new TFs while I was there - unfortunately, I got there five minutes before it opened and realized (much to my shame) that I was standing there waiting with a bunch of Hotwheels douchebags.
