I think it should be Breakdown or Wildrider. I've always thought that Alt Dead End should be Breakdown (from the Stunticons, seeing how both he and Sideswipe were Lamboughinis in G1), and since there's no Porches for Alts, A Mustang maybe the next best thing. Then again, Dead End should had got Alt Shockwave/blast's mold, seeing how Jazz was a Porche in G1....

Between Takara & Hasbro better make it a total of four: with the exception of Sunstreaker all known 'third' releases have differed between the two companies (yellow tracks vs Swerve, Ricochet vs alert). I, for one, wouldn't be surprised if this is going to continue.

 

As for the third Mustang mold. Because it is a muscle car (and because Grimlock was the first), I kind of get the feeling that whomever gets chosen for this mold should be someone powerful or rugged (yes, I'm completely ignoring Wheeljack  :tfevil ). Bludgeon or Motormaster would be a good choice, considering both have swords.

 

Recently I also realised that I wouldn't mind if Ironhide would be third Mustang. Also a powerful character, not too fast (like the mustang isn't too fast compared to sports cars) or agile (another impression I get from the Mustang).

Perhaps one of the Predacons WOULD be a good idea. If not, I do like the Bludgeon custom I've seen.

The guy who did that custom also made a Nemesis Prime out of the mustang, too.  Both of em were kick ass.

Yeah, motormaster or bludgeon get my vote. Like the idea of doing all the dinos and preds in tandem though.
