twincast is eHobby exclusive?

 

Oh well, Takara may put this in TFC in the near future.

What I want to know is this e-Hobby release going to be able to hold two cassettes?

I don't think Takara/Tomy would reissue Twincast as a TFC; let me rephrase that: I'd be really surprised if they reissued Twincast after he is released as an e-Hobby exclusive.

 

I think T/T just doesn't want to blow two reissues on a single figure.  We should be happy, since this probably means that another future reissue slot isn't taken up by a repaint.

 

Although I know that the Cassette-bot wil be an original figure, I hope that it has some sort of a G1 tie-in.  Maybe they could name it Decibel, after the Japan-only dino-cassette gestalt.

cool, good thing i cancelled my Broadcast pre-order in favor of waiting for Twincast. but it seems that he only comes with one cassette :tfsad

i'm suprised that ehobby has done this, didn't takara release soundblaster as an actual  TFC release

well, it looks like he has the remolded tape deck.

 

also according to BBTS, Broadcast is due out in Febuary while Twincast won't be available until April.

I remember that when Broadcast was first announced, people noticed a black button on his chest in the retailer solicitation pictures.  It was theorized that this would be the new cassette door button.  Twincast doesn't have the same button- I wonder if this means that his deck isn't retooled, or that neither figure will have the opening mechanism retooled.
