TFC21 Broadcast up at Ehobby

Recommended Posts

My point is that, although Soundblaster got "new" cassettes, he was part of the TFC line. The eHobby line is almost always straight repaints, so if this is Twincast, most likely we'll get and "evil" Steeljaw in a sweet black repaint.

or so you hope :tflaugh

Yeah that makes sense. Something like that, anyway.

I see what you mean but I was thinkning more along the lines of a Twincast reissue like with soundblaster (he wasn't Ehobby exclusive) and not a ehobby exclusive. In which case, they would include a different cassette (which following previous trends would likely have an animal mode) with him as there was only one steeljaw type bot, whereas buzzsaw and laserbeak were different characters with the same mold. While on the topic, does anyone know if twincast, like soundblaster, can hold 2 cassettes?

Uh, there was never a blue Ravage or Lasebeak/Buzzsaw, but we got the Cobalt Sentry Team...a recolored Steeljam cassette is likely.

Forgive me for leaving out the word 'WITH'.

Twincast  WITH a recolored Steeljaw is unlikely.

The overwhelming trend in releasing TFC items in alternate colors has been to release them as E-Hobby toys.

The vast majority of E-Hobby toys have been based on 'Pre-Transformer' items.

The Cobalt Sentry team was based on the blue Microchange casettes.

There is no Microchange version of the mold for Steeljaw.

Of course a repaint of Steeljaw is possible, but on what basis have you deemed it to be likely??

I've deemed likely, based on my superior fanboy knowledge of how the designers and executives at Takara/TOMY think and operate.

I hope Twincast isn't an E-Hobby exclusive.  I got Soundblaster because he was part of the main TFC, and I'm hoping Twincast dosen't get royally screwed to being a store exclusive.

Yeah, true.. but I don't recall them having a Diaclone style paintscheme of Wheelie and Kup either.

As you know, not all of the e-Hobby exclusives are depending on original Diaclone/MicroChange versions. So, there's a chance for a recolored Steeljaw. But it definitely won't be sold alone. However, since there was a blue version of "Blaster" in Microchange line, it could be released as an e-Hobby variant. If it would be a Decepticon, then Steeljaw could be black...who knows...

Somebody asked about Twincast's cassette capability: he can hold two cassettes and the deck's door acts as a tech specs decoder (like Soundblaster's). I think that if it's going to be released, Twincast would be a part of the TFC line. It could come with Ramhorn and maybe Eject/Rewind ? Slamdance could be a possibilty too (I hope not) ?

That's cool about twincast capacity - I agree that ramhorn and one of the bots would be a great inclusion.

i hope E-hobby can issue blaster and twincast package set like galvatron
