A pretty cool box set imo and all the better for not having the crappy pretender shells.  If you want to get picky, Grimlock is far too small and Bumblebee has a bit of middle aged spread ;)

But without the Pretender shells, I don't see the appeal considering they're now nothing more than craptastic versions of the original G1 toys.

Never knew that existed. Awesome. I've been pondering adding one Pretender, namely, Jazz minus the shell to my collection.

Never knew that existed but no way in Hell I'd pay that much for those figures and I actually like Pretenders....

i know this stuff.

seems in 1990

I seem to remember the hood of my Jazz pretender not folding down that far, and obsuring the head.

All four of these guys only go for 25-30 each w/shells. Don't bother.

Bumblebee is rad though.

Its not the figures that i like, its the fact that there is a feaky boxed set of these ;) I just like the `oddities` so to speak.  That said I would never buy them regardless of how much it is.

it is a neat lil set i will say that. but way overpriced for what it is. ive always wanted the grimlok pretender just cuz. and the bumblebee pretender is really cool. :thumb

I have the pretender versions and the US Legend non-Pretender versions, so pass.
