As long as they put gun holes in his hands so we can be sneaky, I'm down wit dat. I'm sure someone would repro some weapons for em.

I assume that he'd have the same kind of semi-articulated hands as all the rest.

i think we'll see him sooner or later, especially with the movie coming out. i think vw would like to see there emblem on a major motion picture. i think he'll be one of the new mold we'll see at the end of 2006

here's to hopeful wishing

Due to the way these things usually work in the movies, I bet that all of the car-based alt-modes are likely to be from the same manufacturer - and more likely than not it will be American.

Anyway, I thought the idea the producers were currently going with was that Bumblebee was going to be an old yellow muscle car.  The type of car a kid often gets for his first vehicle.

i read on seibertron.com that habro had legally obtained the name bumblebee and that they copyrighted it for 2 characters one was for the cybertron seriers and the other for the alternators series. this is pretty old and not sure if it's been posted before but here is the link were you can read up http://www.seibertron.com/sludgereport/view.php?id=5539

I'm sure they can always use the ole "Autobot Bumblebee" if necessary.

I think the Cybertron version of Bumblebee will probably be "Cody's Ramble" from the GF series - as it has a pretty Bumblebee-esque head.  Who knows what the Alt version will end up being (could be any small yellow car), I imagine there's still a slim, outside chance of an Alt VW BB.

However, the movie verison of BB probably won't be a VW.  Due to licensing considerations, movies more often than not end up going with a single manufacturer (such as Ford for the most recent James Bond movie), as said manufacturer doesn't want to cross promote any competitors' products.
