Awsomeness in that the Hummer is now an "Official" rumor and not just lamo fanboy speculation.

Hasbro have  licensing rights to use  the 'Humvee' (armed forces version) name and likeness in the G.I.Joe line.

Getting the rights to use it, or the Hummer for a TF is unlikely to be a problem.

I would guess  they've already started to design it... if it becomes a commercially available toy or not..  remains to be seen.

I would have preferred all plastic construction with high end paint for both lines as a compromise. They wouldn't have to worry about seperate tooling for diecast and plastic and all of the decisions in between. It's a niche product so I feel a more unified approach would be better.

I think this would have been the best approach, as well.

The fully-painted Alts such as 'Streak and Grimlock are essentially impossible to distinquish by eye from their BT counterparts.  The paint sticks better to plastic with almost no chipping issues, gives better "playability" and there are fewer balance issues arising from the diecast making the figure top-heavy.

You'll probably get your wish when the movie hits.

I cant even imagine them even smaller. I know they wouldn't have trigger fingers and can you imagine Miester's detachable arms?

Smaller scale would have meant loss of detail, number of parts. Or keep the detail and go the detachable hands\parts route.

The problem would likely be from Takara's side.  I think for it to be interesting for the Japanese market it would have to be a military version of the "H1" (taking the argument for the Ram being Prime into consideration).

Otherwise, I'm sure we would have had one by now (GM seems like they'll give anyone a license for the Hummer) - although, if the Japanese factor were not a consideration, I think GM would prefer to use an H2 or H3 model instead.

Maybe if the do you the Hummer it will be Megs?

I personally want an H2 Soundwave/Blaster

it would of been cool if they had kept the idea of a spart.

its also nice to know they do try and go for the cars we like but "the man" wont give them the licence
