Sale for Cybertron figures at Zellers & Toys 'R Us

Recommended Posts

So I check the batch of flyers for the coming week.  This is straight from the flyers.

All prices in Canadian.  Not sure if these sales apply to our neighbors to the south.

==================

Both starting this Saturday (Nov 5th)

Zellers:

Buy 1 and get the 2nd one at half price, on all Cybertron figures (2nd figure must be of equal or lesser value).

Toys 'R Us:

Cybertron Leader class figures @ $50+tax (a saving of $20)

Cybertron Supreme class figures @ $65+tax (a saving of $15)

==================

What I find interesting is that TRU's prices on Leaders/Supremes are $70/$80 respectively, by those numbers.  Zellers normally has Leaders/Supremes for $60/$70 respectively on a regular basis, and I think so does Wal-Mart.

Oh, and I asked: Zellers does price-match.  I've heard about it, but never knew if it was a fact.  So I went over and asked them this morning.  Just so you'd at least be getting the HBC points for more freebies later on.

hmm, that'd be nice if prime went on sale... then i could get him finally.

am i the only one who doesn't care about these stupid sales? it's not like the stores that are even remotely close to where i live ever have anything worth buying.

zellers near me is crap im lucky to find old energon and armada toys there. sometime you luck out and they will have one new figure but thats it for a month or so.

nope, not only up there, here in Illinois, idk bout the rest of SA, but I just picked up Evac for, dun dundun duuuun..... $14

I just know the Zellers closest to my workplace just restocked on a whole lot of Basics/Scouts yesterday.  I passed by today,and I saw more unopened cases of stuff near the toys section with "Hasbro" and "Mattel" on 'em, so I'm guessing that they might be getting more on the shelves soon enough.

I picked up Optimus a couple of days ago, and picked up Armorhide and Hardtop yesterday, and I'm gonna get some money back from Zellers tomorrow.  I think I've pretty much picked up everything I want from GF/Cybertron, other than a Noisemaze (Sideways will do) and maybe a Nitro Convoy (I don't want to buy Override).

Novermber's US TRU sale (at least on the West Coast) appears to be Voyagers for $15 and Starscream Supreme for $43.
