Why not just look for the Hasbro and Takara info on the card?  :tftongue

You can't do that if it's an online auction.

The Kenner name would be in the lower right hand corner (or left) and since it's not (and it's a clearly visible part of the card) makes this a false item.

Not a bad KO. I've only seen the animish defender versions.. and it looks like total crap.

I pulled out my MOSC rockbubble Rattrap.  The butt / tail color is off.  It should be a brown that gradually blends into the grey.  The name doesn't have Heroic Maximal in it.  It does just say rattrap, however there should be a trademark in the upper right just after the name.  The assortment number is in the lower left corner ( 8023/80295 ASST. black letters in a white box)  The package appears to be larger than mine as well.  The kenner logo is actually on the back of the box.  If you want, I'll post a pic of mine front back a bit later.

Soon Transformers Are Going To Need Anti-Counterfeit Technology. :lol

:tfdance

they are called rub stickers

Ok, The Other TF Lines Don't Have Rub Stickers. :tard G1 Is The Only Line With Them. Plus I Have A KO G1 Cosmos With A Cheep Rub Sticker. Rub Sticker Aren't Helpful In Seperating KO's From Real TF's.

I don't think they do rubsigns anymore.. I know a few BW characters have them but most of them dont.. afterwords it was usually spark crystals. From armada on it seems like they don't even bother with it anymore.  :redface

thats a KO with effort!

The cards look real, but I don't remember how the bubbles are supposed to look on the early BW figures, they seem odd to me, but I think it is only because I haven't seen any pre-TM bubbles since they first came out.
