E-hobby Reflector - It would be neat

Recommended Posts

I have a G1 reflector in pretty good shape - no sticker wear and tight joints - but no box. He is definitely one of the best molds IMO. Nice articulation, (for back in the day) and the viewfinder / button clickable mechanics are pretty sweet too.

I would still buy a toon accurate version if it came out as well!  :thumb

I could see it now. A regular reflector in the tfc and an e-hobby show accurate reflector would be a shoe-in. I'd buy em both

He is a pretty cool little guy.  I have a beat to hell one.  Been thinking about repainting/remolding the guy to be more show accurate.  The middle guys arms are broken anyways so I wouldn't feel so bad.

Funny, I was just thinking about this yesterday.  I'd love to see a Reflector reissue, in original or show colors.  I'd buy both, possibly in duplicates.  Of course, since Reflector is my next hunt, I'll end up paying $200 for one and THEN they'll reissue him for $50. :redface  In show colors, no less.  :fire

If you wan't a Show acc. Reflector your gonna need to make a new mold, Show reflector had a diferent Camera Mode, diferent Robot modes, and even a diferent transformation.

Well it's not like they ever transformed anyone the same way twice in G1... except when they were using stock footage.

Reflector is cool b/c of his rarity, but IMO he's just too small.

What I think he means is all three bots looked identical in robot mode in the cartoon, but the toy has very different appearances, and none of them really look like the show model.

Earth to Brint -- I *knew* that.... I just wasn't addressing all of his points. But really, are we going to blame Hasbro/Takara b/c the cartoon guys were too lazy to create three distinct character designs for Reflector? I think not. TOY ACCURACY FO' LIFE!!

Yeah, I definitely think it would be a great move for Has/Tak to reissue Reflector. They should pull a reissue Astrotrain, however - one toy version and the other anime version.

I think it's safe to say that anyone this fantasy reissue would be targeted for, would buy it...any G1 fan that doesn't have a reflector would pick one up.  I know I would.

I'd love to see Reflector reissued. I'd buy one without a doubt.

I won't even buy clearance priced Hasbro reissues, so I sure as hell wouldn't buy a high priced e-hobby version.

Now, if the Dinobots were reissued, I'd be more inclined to pre-order them.

Id buy one for a box with artwork and color on it..not just a white box that says camer transformer on it lol.
