Tis truly a sad (tf related) day.

I bought a couple broken swoops, including a diaclone one in the hopes the beak could be replaced and was delighted to find you can with Ken's repro parts...only thing is the hinges to them all are gone, so I have beaks with no way to attach em, unless I send in a couple good necks, and the rest of the head and have him remake more for $30 or so...

I'd do it if part of the cost was covered.  Then we can all fight over ebay junker swoops with no heads and rebuild because we would have the tech...er parts.

Should send a demand letter to Hasbro to reproduce wings sets for G1 jets, and some busted classic parts like windshields and swoop's head.

not a bad idea.  not a bad idea.  too bad they'll never do it.

Or a safe. I am amazed what the new Transformers can take but the old ones they can break rather easily.

Of course that was before Habro realized that these would still be popular 20 years later. Still, even they are not indestructible.

I dread the day my little nephew can walk. He could do a lot of damage if he is not kept under a close eye.

Forget the nephew. Wait till you have your own little buggers and no goodbye option.......unless you take option 2. Be a deadbeat parent.

Love swoop....hate the beak. When i was a kid I think I had three of them and still ended up with a beakless one 20 years later lol. I bought another off ebay and when I got it the beak was cracked on one side of the hing. I was so ticked. So the guy gave me some money back and i kept it. It was ok for a while, but then it just started to Bug me! So i bought another and this time it was perfect. I quickly put him in the display case and have not touched him since LOL. Same with Snarl. Went through a lot of him with his fickle Tail that always breaks from just transforming it lol. Gotta love then Dinobots!

Don't suppose you wanna sell the one with the cracked beak, eh? :thumb

No need to worry about that at least, I got no child wish whatsoever. Or a girlfriend for that matter.  :tftongue

Yea, I wonder what i'm going to do when I have children.  I have to teach them to share, yet I won't let them touch my toys?

:rofl

:tfdance

Over the weekend, I attempted to "improve" the loose hips on my GF Noisemaze by attempting to coat his ball-jointed hips with instant glue, but I ended up spilling the stuff all over the figure!  This resulted in his arm being glued to his shoulder pad, so I could no longer move it.  So I bought some glue debonder and applied it to his arm, but unfortunately the plastic started melting around it, but his arm still refuses to move.  I'm afraid that his arm has become permenantly fused to his shoulder pad and I've left with a plastic scarred Noisemaze that can't fully transform!  Sigh...

You know what they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it....

I dropped Monstructor the day I completed him. Only two pieces of Bristleback broke... I was lucky.

I'm sorry for your misfortune but this one made me laugh. Things went from bad to worse and you still cant move the arm. Good luck with your new hunt.

Trying to explain this to them is a true beast. I just say, "Look! I buy you your own crap so you dont have to ask for mine. If Starscream is ugly and dumb now that I just bought Optimus for me, Tough!! Maybe Santa will help you out. Or maybe I'll just buy your ungrateful ass Socks the next time you cry and beg me for a new toy!" *takes Moltrin extra strength*
