i have it on vhs , dvd, and the psp

I have you beat...I also own it on Laserdisc and Betamax!

In yo' face!

I could care less about the PSP, damn battery-drainer is all it is.

But back to the topic of this thread, I loved it! Yes, parts of it are cheesy and putting Weird Al in the soundtrack is questionable, but overall, a good classic to watch from time to time.    :thumb

i love it....have my original VHS still eventhough starscreams blue is more of a green now...and of course i have it on DVD. SO pristine on dvd...best invention ever! LOL. I still watch the almost 20 year old vhs from time to time just for the nostalgia that is is the same vhs from when i was a kid and got it for Christmas the year it came out. Wo hoo. ALong with a But load of the new figures. It does have its Quirks as i like to call them...like someone said about prime passing on from a few wounds but magnus just gets pieced back together and pollished and hes "ok"?!?! I was always like...take prime there dam it! Fix Prime...screw magnus. Oh well then i remember it was supposed to be for kids and supposed to be moving the storyline into the future instead of just more of Megatrons Silly yet amusing "plans" to dominate the Universe....yet he couldn't even DOminate one tiny Planet? lol...oh well gotta love it! and i do!

Well like everyone else, I love it, I'd say I watch it maybe once every 4 months or so, just depends, sometimes transformers can be all you think about and other times you dont really think too much about them.  And one comfort we can all take in watching the movie now as opposed to when it came out was that Prime and Starscream were both brought back so even though they died, it wasn't for long.

I have it on VHS, I watch it atleast 2-3 monthes of the year or about 30 times. I also go to sleep with 1 of dvd's of the series just about everynight.

TF:TM is pretty okay. I bought it last year on DVD and that was the first time I saw it many years. Initially I went to see the complete movie but if I watch it now, I only go for the scenes I like: the beginning until Megatron gets ditched, and the fight between Hot Rod/Rodimus & Galvatron. Everything in between I don't really like (sometimes I'll see as far until Starscream gets blasted -- two of my favorites, Ironhide and Starscream...b@st@rds  :tdown ).

I really like the beginning. You really get the feeling that beyond Earth the Autobots are close to beaten. The shuttle attack is very nice and finally they have learned to shoot properly, and also finally TF's get really hurt. The attack on Autobot city is cool (although I really would have like to see Ultra Magnus in action) and when Prime and the Dinobots arrive it only gets more interesting. Throughout the cartoon I never really liked Prime (or think he was a good leader -- he just made too many mistakes and in those better written eps, MTMTE & Ultimate Doom, he was always behind the facts and won because of coincendences), but when he transforms and drives to the fight, I feel a shiver running down my spine. Finally he's portrayed as a powerful leader who's willing to do what it takes to stop his evil enemy. Of course, this fight ends lousy: Prime could have and should have made the shot -- or not even fallen for Megatron plea (you'd think he would know his opponent after millions of years) -- and I do feel that Megatron got injured a bit too fast.

The middle part really goes nowhere in a slow pace. I really don't understand why Galvatron is supposed to be so powerful (he doesn't do anything except push buttons and destroy Starscream for which he has to transform -- the clone of Prime used his less powerfull riffle to destroy the clone of Starscream with a few shots, so why does this make Galvatron so strong) and later Hot Rod even manages to floor him with a single punch. Ultra Magnus is also a great disappointment: I really wanted/want a cool Magnus-Galvatron fight, but all I get are Magnus trying to open the matrix (after "I'm not worthy") and the sweeps killing him. I'm not even going to start about the dancing or the Quints presence (what do you mean, not guilty? They're TF's, your enemies, so they're guilty!)

The last part is again interesting (but again Magnus disappears -- Magnifico would probably have been a better name for 'm) and I really like how Hot Rod humiliates Galvatron. Unfortunately, the Rodimus-Galvatron fight I would've like to see a bit more extended.

All in all not a bad movie, but it really could've been a lot better. (but that's JMO)

man.. i wore out the VHS copy i had when i was a kid. my mom either had that on or Top Gun, just about anytime the TV was on to keep me occupied.

It's okay.

I love it for the nostalgia, but I know it could have been much better.

It's still my most watched movie of all time though.

I used to watch it once a week. Then I got the brillant idea of connecting a tape player to the VCR and recording the whole thing on a 90 minute tape. Yea.... I have 3 copies on VHS and some wierd Chinese DVD version. I CAN'T FIND THE PSP ONE!

For me, TF:TM is everything good about transformers.  Great animation, great story, and solid characters (if a little stereotypical).

I still watch it 4 or 5 times a year (and more most years).  And it never seems to get old. :thumb

:pfx something fun to watch when I can't find anything else to do, or when I just wanna relax and be a kid again.
