Well thanks to our good friends in Canada I have a few MEisters now. So I figured who needs the overpriced Red Binaltech Meister when I can take one of these and make him into one. Simple repaint. He isn't an exact copy but close enough for me.Still some touchups to do but thought I'd post some pics anyways. I used Pactra Racing Red spray paint. The results blow away anything I've seen Krylon do and since it is used on RC car bodies it is extremely tough! Dropped him twice and not a scratch or chip. Transformed him and no chips or scratches. Little more expensive but it the results are much better. IMO anyways. So enjoy.

looks like its a very clean repaint. What kind of paint did you use tho? It looks like it also came out kinda rough, but you did say it needed some touch ups.

It's pactra racing red paint. Used on polycarbonate RC car bodies. It actually is flat finish. Why the paint looks rough. I am debating on putting a clear coat on it or not. Paint is not rough at all. Flat finish is making it look that way.

Doesn't look rough to me.  Looks very clean.  I think Lobo used the polycarb paint on his Megatron too and swore by it as well.  I may try to use that next time.

I tell you it is the easiest and one of the more even types of spray I have used. Durability wise like i said I dropped it twice by mistake and it never chipped or anything. Very tough. But at 4.95 a can it's a little expensive but worth it.

at first i didnt read the post. just looked at the pics. i thought "ok.. its the red bt meister" then i read the post. very nice paint job man.
